Dear my gamelan team

Gw kecewa banget. Maap tapi gw ngerasa pengen ngomong.

Intinya, tim gamelan gw which we proudly named as The Begajulans, ada diminta tampil lagi di embassy. After our successful performance at GAYA, this one should not be a problem.

Or at least I thought so.

“Banyak presentasi Syl, belon bikin apa2″
“Ada tugas Syl, banyak banget”
dan beberapa kalimat lain yang senada..

I know everyone is busy and the gamelan team is not the super important thing you should put first and moreover it’s not doing you any good to put something in your resume, but… I’m busy too, FGS! Everybody is busy. We know that. But, hello? This is not a super duper difficult task is it? It’s not that they ask us to organize one big event. We’re just playing gamelan, FGS. Only two songs. Two songs that we have really remembered.

Kenapa?

Dan tadi gw ditelpon “Syl, gmn, kita mau minta pertanggungjawaban gamelan nih, kok katanya ga jadi tampil? Padahal kita dah siap2.. bla bla bla”

Gw mau ngomong apa? Kita males tampil gara2 sibuk ama kuliah? Malah ada yang bilang ga bisa tanpa ngomong langsung. Kenapa musti ngomong ama orang lain dulu? Susah banget yah ngomong ke gw langsung?

Gw kecewa banget ama lo smua. Gw kecewa. Lo pada ga nyadar apa, we have responsibility the moment we signed up for the gamelan team. Masa gw harus pake bikin kontrak apa buat lo smua?

Dan sekarang hubungan kita renggang gara2 beginian. Itu yang lo smua mau? Just because of the trivial thing we could have done in just 30 minutes something?

Ya udah. Balik sono ke projects kalian. You guys won’t even care that I got scolded because we cancelled anyway.

    whoa gua baru baca sekarang, telat yah =p. iya gua juga ngerti perasaan lu itu..but that’s life n ppl’s priorities are different…susah emang when u feel like u’re the only one pushing through n pulling ppl…anyhow, iya gua juga diceritain jenny. merasa bersalah jadinya dah minta kalian main waktu itu >,<. but u guys really did rock KBRI that day. thx yah =)
